Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Clinical · Part or full time

For licensed clinicians who bring both clinical skill and genuine cultural humility to their work. Caseloads are flexible and consultation is built in.

  • Licensed in New York
  • Experience with trauma, BIPOC communities, or perinatal mental health preferred
  • EMDR training a plus, not required
  • Telehealth only; flexible scheduling

Mental Health Counselor - LP

Clinical · Supervised · Part or full time

Earn your hours toward licensure in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. You'll carry your own caseload with weekly individual supervision, and real say in the clients and presentations you take on.

  • MHC-LP in good standing in New York
  • Weekly individual supervision counting toward NY licensure hours
  • $45–55 per hour, W2, with supervision time paid
  • Flexible caseload to fit your licensure hours plan
  • Opportunity to develop specialty areas, including EMDR
  • Telehealth only; scheduling built around your availability

Counseling Intern

Clinical · Practicum or externship

A placement for graduate students seeking real clinical depth and meaningful mentorship. You'll build a small caseload with close support, shaped around your program's requirements.

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited master's or doctoral program
  • Weekly individual supervision by a licensed LMHC
  • Exposure to culturally attuned, trauma-informed care
  • Gradual caseload building, paced to your comfort and program hours
  • Telehealth placement available

Client Care Coordinator

Administrative · Part time

The first voice a client hears matters. I'm looking for a warm, organized person to manage scheduling, intake coordination, and client communications with genuine care.

  • Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting preferred
  • Proficient with scheduling and EHR systems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Billing & Insurance Specialist

Administrative · Part time

A detail-oriented specialist to manage insurance verification, claims submission, superbill processing, and billing questions, so clients can access care without the paperwork burden.

  • Experience with mental health or medical billing required
  • Familiarity with out-of-network claims and superbills
  • Knowledge of NY Medicaid and commercial insurance plans preferred
  • HSA/FSA and ERA/EOB processing experience a plus

Language skills are a plus for every role. Cantonese, Mandarin, Taishanese, Fuzhounese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Khmer, Tagalog, Thai, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Punjabi, Spanish, or Haitian Creole.

What supervision looks like here

Supervision is an hour a week, and it belongs to you. We'll talk through cases, but there's also room for the parts of this work that are harder to name: the client who reminds you of your family, the session that left you rattled, the question you were afraid was too basic to ask.

Culture is part of the clinical conversation here, not a separate topic we get to if there's time. If you're working with clients navigating identity, immigration, family obligation, or racial stress — or if you're navigating some of that yourself as a clinician — that belongs in the room.
